We are collectively building this impactful brand to empower generations of

Every day we break down the news, trends, policies, and politics that impact
women so that they can navigate their daily lives and futures – from managing
their paychecks to casting their ballots – with confidence. We provide our
dedicated audience of millions with reliable, non-partisan information,

We support our parents at all points on their journey

We’re proud to offer 18 weeks of paid leave to all parents (adoption, fostering,
and surrogacy included) and bereavement leave for pregnancy loss. We also have
additional leave for parents whose newborns are in the NICU — their 18 weeks
starts when their baby comes home. Additionally, we offer access to family
building and fertility benefits through Kindbody, as well as a flexible and
broad scale childcare and tutoring support program through our partners at

OUR STORY, SKIMM’D

Our co-founders and co-CEO's launched theSkimm from their couch in 2012. What
started as an email by two news producers, has since grown into a media empire –
reaching millions of millennial women through its suite of products and serving
as a trusted source to help them live their smartest lives.
