Compared with 2020, the Group recorded improvements across most of its key financial and operating metrics, driven largely by upstream operations. 09 March PGNIG WINS AGAINST GAZPROM BEFORE THE SWEDISH COURT OF APPEAL The Court of Appeal in Stockholm dismissed Gazprom’s petition to set aside the award of the Arbitral Tribunal concerning the price for gas supplied under the Yamal contract, issued in favour of PGNiG. 11 February PGNIG RESPONDS TO GAZPROM’S NOTICE OF ARBITRATION CONCERNING GAS PRICES PGNiG submitted a response Gazprom’s notice of arbitration in which it requested dismissal of the Gazprom’ claims and also submitted counterclaim for a decrease of contract price. 02 February PGNIG WINS CASE CONCERNING GAZPROM’S ABUSIVE MARKET BEHAVIOUR The General Court of the European Union has agreed with PGNiG and annulled the decision of the European Commission rejecting the Polish company’s complaint against Gazprom’s anticompetitive practices. The EC will need to reconsider the case.
