effects on your health and lifespan. This study takes a deep look at thousands
of measurements in your blood to see what supplementing with this important
compound might do.

WHAT IS NAD+?

NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is an essential molecule your body uses
to repair your DNA, regulate your cells’ metabolism, and control aging. Because
it’s so critical for the survival of your cells, NAD+ can have profound effects
on your health and lifespan. Some of NAD’s important functions have only
recently been discovered. Because of this, it has become the subject of many
research studies, and supplements that claim to boost NAD+ levels are gaining
popularity.


WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN THIS STUDY?

Our researchers will study the effects of a particular NAD+ supplement, called
NADaCell, in healthy adults. This study will measure your NAD+ levels, track
your mood and energy, and look at thousands of compounds (proteins and
metabolites) in your blood. We’ll examine these factors both before and during
supplementation with NADaCell or a placebo.

Get four blood draws from the comfort of your home

Routinely take short surveys about your experience

ELIGIBILITY


IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR THE STUDY, YOU NEED TO MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

BE BETWEEN 45 AND 75 YEARS OLD

BE FAIRLY HEALTHY OVERALL

(It’s okay if you have a common condition such as high blood pressure or high
cholesterol. At this time, only individuals without an active infection, cancer,
diabetes, autoimmune disorder or substance use disorder are invited to
participate)

HAVE A BODY MASS INDEX (BMI) OF LESS THAN 35

BE WILLING TO STOP TAKING ALL SUPPLEMENTS FOR ABOUT TWO WEEKS

NOT CURRENTLY TAKING IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS OR ANTI- INFLAMMATORY MEDICATIONS

(Except NSAIDs like ibuprofen)

SPEAK ENGLISH

NOT CURRENTLY PREGNANT

NOT HAVE COVID-19 WITHIN THE PAST TWO MONTHS AND NOT HAVE RECEIVED A COVID-19
VACCINE WITHIN THE PAST TWO WEEKS

NOT BE A MEMBER OF THE SAME HOUSEHOLD AS ANOTHER PARTICIPANT IN THIS STUDY

RESIDE IN THE GREATER SEATTLE AREA
