I’m sending a request to v2/calls/extensive? and trying to fetch data for the
previous UTC hour. Request body: {'filter': {'fromDateTime':
'2024-09-23T19:58:59Z', 'toDateTime': '2024-09-23T20:59:02Z'}} I’m receiving
some records, but when I rerun the same request later, I get many more
additional records. What could be the reason for this behavior, and is there a
way to fix it?

Just curious if anyone has done any of the integrations like this: Take the
transcript from a Gong call; send it to ChatGPT to ask the GPT some standardized
question(s); and then put the results of that into SFDC on the associated
account. The use case is to do some analysis on a call beyond what Gong’s
current AI can do and append the SFDC record with that analysis. I currently use
Zapier which integrates to all three tools; but curious if anyone has any
experience doing this.

Icons Next to Activity Have Reversed


It seems with a recent update the purple icon that would show as activity when
you call or email a prospect has now changed to red and the red icon that would
show when the prospect would respond or interact with your activity is now
purple. Did anyone else see this swap occur? I feel the red was a good alert to
show when there was interactivity happened and would draw my attention, now I am
just drawn to a bunch of my own stuff.

I’m having issues with the Gong integrations API via python. Here are my steps:
I integrated HubSpot with Gong. I manually associated Gong calls with HubSpot
accounts via Gong UI (I can see the associations in the UI) My application calls
the API: /v2/calls/manual-crm-associations However, I get a 404 error: No
manually associated calls with CRM data found. Has anyone been able to get this
API (in beta presumably) to work? Thanks!

On making a refresh token request, a new refresh token is generated and the old
refresh token is invalidated. If the new refresh token is somehow lost, there’s
no way to recover. Is it possible to make the old refresh token stay valid for a
grace period after it is used in making a refresh token call?

Admin/Ops reporting cadence

Hi everyone! 🖐 I’m a new ops-based Gong admin, looking to report on our overall
usage of the platform. I’ve been to the Team Members page to see our license
allocation and usage, but I’m looking for a little more than that… we want to
understand how our team is using Gong and if they’re getting value from it, at
the end of the day. I asked ChatGPT and it suggested a number of dashboards and
reports that live in either Settings > Analytics or Analytics on the left side
panel, but I don’t have Analytics in my settings, nor do I have Analytics in my
left side panel either 🤷🏻I have Insights, but from there just Team,
Initiatives, Market. I’m a business and technical admin, so assume I should see
everything? I’m curious what other teams are reporting on related to usage and
engagement and how you’re leveraging that reporting to drive better usage of
Gong within your organization (and better manage your license allocation!)

Our sales team sometimes conducted demos in prospects office. In these
circumstances the sales person is present in the office and use a computer to
run a demo of the software along with a remote product expert. We’ve not yet
discovered a way to successfully use Gong for these meetings. If we run Gong on
the computer, Gong doesn’t recognize that the two people in the office are a
sales person and a prospect. And if we use the Gong Mobile App to record, it

Analyzing call trends at scale


Has anyone found a way using Gong to analyze trends across sales calls at scale?
I’ve used trackers to identify calls that match specific criteria (ex:
competitors, discovery questions, etc) but I haven’t found a way for Gong to
identify things like: most common objections faced during the sales process, top
pain points we’re hearing from our ICP or how effective is our team at executing
our sales methodology without significant manual effort digging into individual
calls. Does this type of functionality exist in Gong?

Does Gong have any best practices when utilizing the AI powered answers for
Scorecard questions? We would like to help scorers by giving them some
tips/tricks on how to incorporate the AI powered answers into their decision
making, without having the AI powered answer being the only answer. If there are
documents/ snippets from scorecard discussions I would love to review. Thanks!
