David will be attending the Floodplain Management Conference in Brisbane with the HARC team next week and would love to connect with both new and familiar faces in the industry 33 3 HARC April 2024 HARC’s Dr Phillip Jordan is attending the First Australia and New Zealand Water Quality Modelling Symposium in Queenstown this week. He will be presenting a speed science talk on application of reanalysis rainfall data to water quality modelling. Participants are working through a series of workshops on six key challenges for the science, practice and application of water quality modelling across Australasia. 44 HARC April 2024 HARC are very pleased to welcome back Declan O'Shea! Declan has returned to HARC as a Senior Hydrologist after recently submitting their PhD at the University of Melbourne. Declan’s PhD focused on improving methods to estimate flood risk under climate change using event-based models. This involved investigating how two key flood drivers - extreme rainfalls and losses - are projected to change in a warming climate and then using this knowledge to examine the resultant impact on future flood risk. 104 11 Load more posts INDUSTRY LEADERSHIP HARC is Highly Engaged with Industry and Leading Practice * ANCOLD Past Chair: Michel Raymond * ANCOLD Guidelines On Risk Assessment, Acceptable Flood Capacity And Dambreak Modelling * Floodplain Management Australia * Global Women In Stem Leadership Program * Guest Lectures At Monash University * ICOLD Committee On Flood Evaluation For Dam Safety * Contribution To Water Sensitive Cities Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) * Onewater Advocacy Group * One Basin Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) Partner SOFTWARE HARC is the proud custodian of RORBwin, MiRORB and ArcRORB software.
