We are pleased to announce that Morpheus.Network has collaborated with
TradeTrust, an initiative supported by Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development
Authority (IMDA), to address the challenges of paper-based international trade
through a framework approach to digitalising trade documents.

What is TradeTrust.io?

Built upon OpenAttestation, TradeTrust comprises globally accepted standards and
frameworks that allow governments and businesses to endorse, exchange, verify
documents and effect title transfer across different digital platforms
seamlessly. OpenAttestation is an open-sourced framework developed by GovTech
that verifies documents using the blockchain. Documents issued this way are
cryptographically trustworthy and can be verified independently by all supply
chain stakeholders.

TradeTrust has been developed for transferable documents to meet the
requirements of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law
(UNCITRAL) Model Law on Electronic Transferable Records (MLETR) that was adopted
into Singapore’s legislation in 2021. The open-source code is freely available
and can be easily integrated into any existing business systems and solution
providers for issuance, verify and title transfer of electronic document in
support of viable causes.

How Morpheus.Network leverages on the TradeTrust framework

Morpheus.Network’s innovations will enable the step-by-step and real-time
monitoring of supply chain process automation.

Morpheus.Network will utilise the TradeTrust framework to issue electronic bill
of lading, required for maritime shippers, into an NFT using the blockchain.
Morpheus.Network provides the user interface for the transfer of the NFT (title
transfer of eBL) to various stakeholders down the supply chain, such as the
ocean carrier and cargo owner.

The projects involved working on a pilot with one of the top 10 largest shipping
container companies in the world connected through TradeTrust.

the world.
