WE ARE SORRY TO ANNOUNCE THAT DUE TO MANY FACTORS INCLUDING THE ECONOMIC IMPACT
OF COVID 19 ON OUR SCHOOL, WE HAVE CLOSED THE SARA CURRY DAY SCHOOL FOR THE TIME
BEING

At its best, schooling can be about how to make a life, which is quite different
from how to make a living

What is school for? To prepare children to be workers, cogs in a machine? To
develop competitiveness among peers and breed individual ‘winners’?  We think
not.  Sara Curry Day School is built on two strong principles: We believe
children need Emotional Intelligence and Self Motivation to fully grow
cognitively.  We believe the world is a better place if we can learn to
communicate with others and work together to achieve our highest potential as
individuals and community members.  Children are capable of going further than
we can even imagine..when they are engaged and self-motivated their academic
achievements are boundless. At our school, children are listened to, their goals
and instincts are validated, all in a safe and structured workplace where they
are the visionaries, we the guides.
