INDIGENOUS WOMEN IN KENYA ARE ORGANIZING TO CREATE SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES WITH
THE INDIGENOUS INFORMATION NETWORK
The Indigenous Information Network makes sure Indigenous women in Kenya are
self-sufficient instead of relying on extractive industry, and equipped and
trained to adapt to the dangers of climate breakdown.

WOMEN’S FORUM TO SECURE THEIR RIGHTS
The National Indigenous Women’s Forum is working to gain the full recognition
and inclusion of Indigenous women and girls in Nepal’s constitution, and advance
their skills, education, and income with trainings, knowledge-sharing, and
farming programs.

Our network of deep relationships all over the globe allows MADRE to react
swiftly to unfolding crises as they occur, delivering emergency aid in the
immediate wake of conflict and disaster, as well as ongoing support for
rebuilding. In Afghanistan, our partnership with local women leaders allowed us
to act quickly after the earthquakes in June 2022 & October 2023 to provide
desperately-needed relief.
