ABOUT INVESTMENT CASTING MANUFACTURER



The structure that is typical is a 4 part body the driver's head consists of a
sole plate, a crown, face, and hosel. The face may be produced of Beta Ti or 6-4
Ti, also the crown 6-4 Ti or tier 9 Ti, and the sole tier 2 Ti. Grade 2 Ti is
utilized because it is soft along with easier to shape the intricacies that are
typical to a sole plate design. The process principle benefit is its low
manufacturing cost. The disadvantages are design sophistication, poor
reproducibility, and precision that is inferior. With the number of the line
within the club head, perimeter weighting is also inconsistent.

Its gravity center is a case of a chance than predictability. The majority of
ceramic timber heads and the process makes almost all part titanium drivers. The
cast titanium driver has a 2 part body composed of the club face and the body.
The main body consists of 6-4 Ti and the bar face of Beta Ti or 6-4 Ti. The face
is connected to the body by an Arc welding or Plasma welding procedure. The
technique is Plasma welding, even since it is a lot hotter than Arcweld, making
a bond and that is thinner. The titanium investment casting uses a lost wax
process, not unlike casting stainless steel.

The extremely accurate FDIC procedure requires a melting furnace along with. a
separate casting furnace. These vacuum furnaces and related factory plants
require substantial capital investment. The advantages of the FDIC procedure are
thinner wall thickness, complex geometry, reproducibility along with dimensional
precision. The main disadvantage is that its manufacturing cost is almost twice
that of the stamping process. Almost all top of the name brand ceramic drivers
is made by some kind of investment casting procedure for its consistency and
precision. The Hathaway V4 and V6 flexible and interchangeable drivers are
produced by the FDIC procedure with a 6-4 Ti body along with a plasma welded,
Beta Ti Dual Face.
