HALF MARATHON AND 10K!


SATURDAY, MAY 4, 2024

May the 4th be with you!

 

Thank you for supporting the Lincoln-Way High School District 210 Foundation.
Our annual Lincoln-Way Foundation Half Marathon & 10K will be Saturday, May 4,
2024. The event kicks off at 7am in beautiful downtown Frankfort at Breidert
Green. Proceeds will fund scholarships as well as grant requests for educational
enhancements made on behalf of the students.

Packet Pick up this year is Friday May 3rd from 4pm-7pm at Lincoln Way East in
the Aquatics Lobby.

JOIN IN ON THE FUN

We are looking for energetic volunteers to help support our runners on 5/4. If
you’d like to help out, please sign up. It’s a great way for students to earn
community service hours.

VOLUNTEER

For the 2024, Half Marathon & 10k, the Half Marathon is a USATF course. Liquids
will be available along the course at numerous aid stations.  Refreshments will
be available to participants at the finish line.  The entire course is paved and
handicap accessible.  The Foundation will not issue refunds for registrations
made online, by mail or on race weekend. Please note: no dogs, strollers, bikes,
or rollerblades are allowed in the race. Online registration is open with packet
pick up located at Lincoln-Way East High School Aquatics Lobby in Frankfort. All
participants will receive a race shirt available in sizes S, M, L, XL, XXL.  An
event medal, an official race packet.  

Parking is ample in the downtown area of Frankfort near the Breidert Green on
White Street or at Oak and Elwood streets. Safety is vital so weather conditions
will be monitored. The event will not begin if lightning has been
sighted/observed/confirmed within 6 miles of any part of the race site or course
within 30 minutes of the start time OR if it is highly probable that lightning
will strike within this range during the event. Water stations will be available
throughout the course.

Trophies will be provided to both the top overall male & female winners for
the two races. Age group categories will be scored by chip time. Trophies will
be available at the awards table the day of the race. 

Gear check is a secure area at the Breidert Green building. Finishers can claim
their gear there. This race is committed to following the best standards that
will ensure a quality, safe and operationally sound race. Please contact the
