VULCAN 972RX DESCRIPTION

The Vulcan 972RX griddle has a 1-inch-thick griddle plate that is heated by six
U-shaped burners. Since the burners are spaced every 12 inches, an even heat is
delivered across the surface. Snap action thermostats are embedded into each
burner to allow for accurate heat adjustments between 200 and 550 degrees
Fahrenheit. A professional look is offered by the chrome burner knobs. Gas flow
to the pilots and burners is shut off if the pilot goes out. To increase safety
by reducing the risk of burns, the front stays cool with a bullnose design.
Tapered side splashes and a 4-inch backsplash on the Vulcan 972RX griddle keep
grease off countertops and work areas. The 31⁄2-inch-wide grease gutter is large
enough for spatulas, while the fully-welded grease chute stops liquid migration.

   up and cooling down constantly
 * 6 U-shaped, aluminized steel burners are spaced 12 in. apart for even heat
 * Each burner has an embedded, snap action thermostat for heat adjustments

 * Chrome thermostat knobs provide a professional feel
 * Safety valves stop gas flow to the burners and pilots if the pilot goes out
 * Front does not get hot thanks to the bullnose design to minimize burn risks

   splashes
 * Spatulas are accommodated in the 31⁄2-in.-wide grease gutter
 * Grease chute stops grease migration with a fully welded construction
 * (2) 6-qt. grease drawers are easy to clean with their stainless steel
   surfaces
 * Front top ledge, front, and sides are constructed of stainless steel so they
   are easy to clean
 * Stainless and aluminized steel chassis frame is fully welded for stability
 * 4-in. legs adjust on uneven countertops or work areas
 * Gas inlet has a manual shut-off valve
 * 3⁄4-in. rear gas connection and gas pressure regulator
