SUMMARY

 * A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Identity
   Services Engine (ISE) could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to
   conduct a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attack and perform arbitrary
   actions on an affected device.
   
   This vulnerability is due to insufficient CSRF protections for the web-based
   management interface of an affected device. An attacker could exploit this
   vulnerability by persuading a user of the interface to follow a crafted link.
   A successful exploit could allow the attacker to perform arbitrary actions on
   the affected device with the privileges of the targeted user.
   
   Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There
   are no workarounds that address this vulnerability.

WORKAROUNDS

 * There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability.

FIXED SOFTWARE

 * When considering software upgrades, customers are advised to regularly
   consult the advisories for Cisco products, which are available from the Cisco
   Security Advisories page, to determine exposure and a complete upgrade
   solution.
   
   In all cases, customers should ensure that the devices to be upgraded contain
   sufficient memory and confirm that current hardware and software
   configurations will continue to be supported properly by the new release. If
   the information is not clear, customers are advised to contact the Cisco
   Technical Assistance Center (TAC) or their contracted maintenance providers.

   the vulnerability that is described in this advisory.
