For me, creatively, storytelling starts with photography of the woman.

The responsibility, the holding of new life before it arrives all while going
through an incredible transformation physically, mentally and emotionally.

Mothers are birthed.

Families are birthed.

Touch, connection – that bond, well, it’s just this beautiful light and magic
that I get to capture.

their fears around their photos being taken is a space I really respect. 

It’s a big vulnerability that I would say 80% of women I photograph the
experience.

To see them go from apologising for their body to being styled to


CAPTURING THAT VULNERABLE BEAUTY,

and then their faces and comments when they receive their shoot gallery….

It hits me right in the feels!  

Seeing the evolution of a story through a photoshoot, and communicating those
feelings, and emotions – it’s so rewarding.
