LAAAWPPI

The Los Angeles Women's Public Policy Institute (LAAAWPPI), founded in 2002, is
a non-profit organization that provides an intensive 10-week leadership program
to prepare women to be more engaged in the government and public policy process.



LAAAWPPI's primary mission is to provide a pipeline for women to assume
leadership roles at all levels of government and public affairs, including, as
commissioners, elected officials, board members, community activists, corporate
community, and external relations, and numerous other positions.



If you would like to be more engaged in the civic and public policy process, we
invite you to apply to our institute. We hope you will consider becoming a part
of the LAAAWPPI network.

GOING ON 20 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE







WHO SHOULD APPLY

LAAAWPPI sponsors a powerful program for women of color and breaks new ground
for women to become more involved in the leadership process. LAAAWPPI has
partnered with the University of Southern California (USC) to offer a 10-week
intensive and comprehensive training program to prepare women for corporate
advancement, to run for elective office, manage political campaigns, seek
government appointments, understand public policy decision-making, and sharpen
their leadership skills.
