THE ISSUE



Human trafficking is the second-largest criminal industry in the world, with
over 800,000 people trafficked against their will across international borders
each year.  For those who escape, many are left with the scarring aftermath of
trauma and addiction from being treated like a commodity. The road to healing
requires a comprehensive response. It's not enough to offer a single solution,
which is why Worthwhile Wear utilizes a multi pronged approach to address this
growing issue.

OUR MISSION

Worthwhile Wear exists to reach and serve women affected by human trafficking
because we believe that everyone is worthwhile.


A COMPREHENSIVE RESPONSE

The road to healing requires a comprehensive response. It's not enough to offer
a single solution, which is why Worthwhile Wear first engages survivors where
they are, in their communities, then offers long-term stability, and finally
provides them with opportunities for financial independence. Learn about what we

CONNECT



Connect with survivors through community outreach at Worth It. A program that
offers a series of classroom experiences designed for women who have experienced
sexual trauma from exploitation, trafficking or prostitution.

SERVE



Provide safe housing and wraparound services at The Well. This program offers a
holistic approach to healing from sexual trauma through housing, counseling,
mentorship, life skills training, personal budgeting, and more.

SUSTAIN



Offer economic self-sufficiency starting with Worthwhile Thrift. The stores
provide employment to the women in our programs. Teaching participants proper
work skills, how to apply for a job, and good work etiquette is crucial for
achieving long-term success.
