ABOUT THE JOURNAL

ISEPROLOCAL (International Seminar on Promoting Local Resources for Sustainable
Agriculture and Development) is a distinguished conference dedicated to
exploring and enhancing the use of local resources for sustainable agricultural
practices and development. This event, organized by the Faculty of Agriculture,
University of Bengkulu, serves as a vital platform for researchers,
practitioners, and policymakers to share knowledge, innovations, and strategies
aimed at fostering sustainable development through the utilization of local
resources.

History of ISEPROLOCAL
2015: The inaugural ISEPROLOCAL seminar was held with the theme “Promoting Local
Resources for Food and Health.” This pioneering event set the foundation for
future discussions on leveraging local resources for sustainable agriculture and
health improvement.
2020: The second seminar continued with the same impactful theme, reinforcing
the importance of local resources in addressing global food and health
challenges.
2022: The third ISEPROLOCAL seminar expanded the discourse, attracting a broader
audience and fostering more in-depth discussions on sustainable agriculture and
local resource utilization.
2024: Marking the fourth edition, ISEPROLOCAL 2024 will focus on “Synergy to
Strengthen National Food Security.” This timely theme underscores the critical
need for collaborative efforts to enhance food security at the national level
through sustainable practices and local resource optimization.

Location: Integrated Services Building (GLT), University of Bengkulu, Bengkulu,
Indonesia
