WHAT IS TWO-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION, AND WHY USE IT?

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a security measure that adds an extra layer
of protection to your online information. When activated, you can use your
mobile phone or a computer app to verify your identity in addition to your
username and password. This ensures that even if someone gains access to your
username and password, they still won’t be able to log in to your account.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

If 2FA is mandatory, a step-by-step guide will appear during your first login.
You can choose your verification method, and a backup code will be provided for
use if you ever lose your phone.
If 2FA is optional, you can enable it by logging in, going to the Security tab
in Account Settings (located in the top right corner) and selecting your
verification method. When logging in with 2FA enabled, you will be prompted for
an additional verification code based on the method you selected.

WHAT IF I LOSE MY PHONE?

If you lose your phone, you can use the one-time backup code to log in. Each
time you use a backup code, a new one will be issued, and the used code will no
longer be valid.
