UNFPA is the lead UN agency for delivering a world where every pregnancy is
wanted, every childbirth is safe and every young person's potential is
fulfilled. UNFPA expands the possibilities for women and young people to lead
healthy and productive lives. UNFPA started working in 1969 and began working
with the Government of Türkiye in 1971. UNFPA Türkiye activities were initially
carried out on a project-by-project basis. The first multi-year Country
Programme ran from 1988 to 1992. The Sixth Country Programme (2016 to 2020) is
currently underway. For more than forty years, UNFPA in Türkiye supports: >
Promote mother and child health, > Improve reproductive health and rights, >
Empowering young people fulfill their potential > Promote gender equality, >

İSTATİSTİK KURUMU iş birliğiyle düzenlediğimiz çalıştayda, farklı
sektörlerden katılımcılar ile gençlerin güçlendirilmesi için ihtiyaçları ve
çözümleri konuştuk. Veriye dayalı genç dostu politikaların ve çok sektörlü iş
birliğinin önemini vurguladık. 2025 yılında tamamlanacak Gençlik endeksiyle

#BM kurumları, kamu, sivil toplum ve akademi gençlerin kadına yönelik
şiddetin önlenmesindeki rolünü konuşmak üzere bir araya geldi. Hasan Kalyoncu
Üniversitesi ev sahipliğindeki ortak #BM etkinliği, gençlerin farkındalığını
artırmak için yapılabilecekleri ve kolektif dayanışmanın önemini vurguladı. *
#UN agencies, govt. institutions, civil society and academia gathered to
discuss the role of youth in preventing violence against women. The joint #UN
event hosted by Hasan Kalyoncu University highlighted what can be done to
raise awareness among youth and the importance of collective solidarity.
