WAT WIZO DOET

 * WIZO (Women’s International Zionist Organization), opgericht in 1920, is een
   internationale organisatie met duizenden Joodse vrouwelijke vrijwilligers in
   circa vijftig landen.
 * WIZO werft fondsen om kwetsbare groepen binnen de Israëlische samenleving een
   beter leven en gelijke kansen te bieden, ongeacht achtergrond of
   geloofsovertuiging.
 * WIZO streeft naar integratie en emancipatie voor verschillende groepen binnen
   de Israëlische samenleving.
 * WIZO is sinds 1948 ook in Nederland gevestigd.
 * WIZO Nederland werft fondsen voor WIZO-projecten in Israël
 * WIZO Nederland wil het Joods bewustzijn ‒ binding met het Joodse volk en het
   Joodse land ‒ bevorderen bij leden, voornamelijk Joodse vrouwen in Nederland.
 * WIZO Nederland heeft voor bovenstaande doelen een Giftshop in Amsterdam en
   een webwinkel.
