With just 3 ingredients (well, 4 including water), they’re also super simple to make! These earl grey popsicles are creamy and sweet. All you will need to make them is earl grey tea, water, sweetened condensed milk and heavy whipping cream. They are a delicious treat with the perfect balance of bergamot, sweetness and cream. As much as I love matcha, I also LOVE earl grey. And we know I love matcha, as evidenced by my recent exploits (see brownies, ice cream, cookies, and more!). Earl grey has such a lovely, distinct floral flavor that is just made for cream. Then we’re gonna add condensed milk for more creaminess and sweetness to pull it all together. I literally dream about these popsicles I love them that much. Let’s make them! Thank you! -Becky Ingredients Earl Grey Popsicles * Earl Grey single-serve tea bags * Sweetened condensed milk * Heavy whipping cream Vanilla bean paste (affiliate link) is also a great addition if you have it! All you need is 1/2 tsp, beat this in with the whipped cream if you decide to use it. It’s not necessary though, as these are delicious without it. But if you are feeling a bit fancy and want to add another delicious dimension of flavor, give it a try! How to make these popsicles Brew tea and add condensed milk First, brew a strong cup of earl grey tea. I use 3 tea bags in 1 1/4 cup of boiling water. Steep the tea for 6 minutes. Remove the tea bags and stir in the condensed milk. Place this mixture in the fridge for about 30 minutes to cool. Make thickened cream Beat the whipped cream until it reaches a thick, but still liquid consistency. If you want to use vanilla bean paste, add this before you start whipping the cream. Combine Add the tea/condensed milk mixture to the whipped cream. Stir it gently but make sure it’s fully combined. Pour into popsicle molds Pour the mixture into a popsicle mold. Saved to your recipes Print RECIPE DETAILS * Yield 10 popsicles * Time spent: Prep time: 20 Minutes Cook time: 6 Hours Total time: 6 hr 20 min Show Nutrition Info Hide Nutrition Info * Per serving % Daily value INGREDIENTS -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * 1 1/4 cup boiling water * 3 single-serve bags earl grey tea * 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk * 1 cup heavy whipping cream INSTRUCTIONS -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Steep earl grey tea bags in boiling water for 6 minutes. Add sweetened condensed milk and chill for 30 minutes in the refrigerator. Add heavy whipping cream (and vanilla bean paste if using) to a large bowl and beat with an electric mixer on medium-high until thickened. You don't want to make whipped cream, you just want to get a thicker consistency and incorporate some air so the pops are less icy. Add the tea/condensed milk mixture to the whipped cream and gently mix it together. Add the mixture to a spouted bowl or large liquid measuring cup. Pour enough in to each popsicle mold to fill. Insert popsicle sticks, secure cover and place in the freezer. Set a time for 30 minutes and then straighten out the sticks. Continue to freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight. To remove popsicles from the mold, run each individual popsicle under lukewarm water and gently tug on the popsicles stick until it releases. You can store popsicles in the plastic mold until ready to enjoy.
