INTRODUCTION TO HTML TAGS

Week 1 of the coding course focuses on the fundamentals of HTML tags and their
role in structuring webpages. The participants were introduced to the concept of
HTML tags and how they can be used to add various elements such as photos,
buttons, and more to a webpage.

The main project for the week involved building a cat photo app, which served as
a practical application of the learned HTML concepts. By developing this app,
students were able to practice using different HTML tags to create the desired
structure and layout for their webpages.

THE IN-PERSON EXPERIENCE: RESPONSIVE WEB DESIGN

THE APPLICATION PROCESS

1. Submit an application

Whether you have experience or are an absolute beginner, as long as you're
passionate about landing that software development job we want to hear from you.
Time commitment is around 20 hours a week of self study and we meet in person
once a week.

2. Entry challenge

You set an coding challenge, it is an online self paced excercise, introduction
to HTML, CSS and Javascript. Once you have submitted your completion
certificate, you will have an interview.

3. You’re on board!

Once you've secured your place, we’ll support you every step of the way towards
kick-starting your tech career.
