Once there is a transaction on Fanhouse, here’s how we distribute the funds:


YOU GET  FOR EVERY PAID-OUT TRANSACTION.

Yep, we have a lower take rate than most creator subscription platforms. As a
creator-founded company, we believe in paying the most we can to creators,
because you deserve it.


WE KEEP  TO COVER THE COSTS OF OPERATIONS.

We use this to pay our employees, server costs, and business costs.


APPLE IS STEALING FROM CREATORS. HELP US FIGHT.

In June 2021, only 8 months after Fanhouse was founded, Apple threatened to kick
us off the App Store unless we let them take 30% of every single transaction
that happens on the platform. Since we only take 10% of transactions, this meant
we would have to pay creators less (60% payout), or charge fans more (150%
upcharge).

We told Apple their policy was extremely exploitative and harmful to creators
and users, who rely on their creative income and can't afford to pay a
trillion-dollar company their earnings, but Apple didn't care.

As a result, we implemented coins as a way for users to continue using an app
while being able to pay on web without any Apple fees.
