Our Story
Our little local dog park, is where it all began… Laura and Brayden struck up
friendly conversation over mutual acquaintances from school. Before long,
Brayden added Laura on Facebook hoping that she would notice his ‘single’
status. She did not. Months went by, both quietly hoping to see each other at
the dog park each day, where conversation flowed in to talk about travel, our
goals and future dreams. Then Covid happened. It was July 2nd 2021, lockdown
finally ended that night and Laura and Brayden bumped in to each other, out
walking their dogs. Brayden asked Laura to join him for an early morning jet ski
the next day. It wasn’t long before the two of them became inseparable and by
the end of the year had moved in together. They got another dog together.
Brayden planned a very elaborate (and romantic) engagement proposal in Tasmania.
Then fast forward to February 1st 2023, Laura and Brayden became a family with
the birth of their daughter, Hazel.

We love your children and would love to invite everyone, but this will be an
adult only celebration. Parents please let your hair down and have a great
night. Breastfed and young babies are of course, welcome. If you have any
questions, please contact Laura or Brayden.

Your love and presence on our wedding day is the greatest and only gift we could
hope for. If you truly wish to bless us with a gift, a wishing well will be
available at the reception.
