DARPA and ARPA-H’s Artificial Intelligence Cyber Challenge (AIxCC) will bring
together the foremost experts in AI and cybersecurity to safeguard the software
critical to all Americans.

AIxCC is excited to have Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, 
the Linux Foundation, the Open Source Security Foundation,
Black Hat USA, and DEF CON as collaborators in this effort.

The appearance of entity names does not constitute endorsement by the U.S.
Government (USG) of non-USG information, products, or services. Although these

Competitors will leverage advances in AI to invent the next generation of
cybersecurity defenses for today’s digital society. Across two years of open
competition, AIxCC will challenge teams to develop AI-driven systems to
automatically secure the critical code that underpins daily life.

Semifinal Competition Prizes 
Up to the top seven (7) teams will advance to the final competition and will
each receive $2 million in prize money. 

 

 

Final Competition Prizes
The top three (3) scoring teams in the final competition will be awarded prizes
in the following amounts:

 
 * 1st Place: $4 million
 * 2nd Place: $3 million
 * 3rd Place: $1.5 million

Editor’s Note: On Dec. 13, 2023, DARPA updated the Open Track
registration timeline, replaced the former Funded Track solicitation with Small
Business Track information, and updated the additional prizes for the
semifinalists
moving on to final competition.
