HI! I’M LILLI CLOUD

A natural-born marketer, conscious capitalist and eternal optimist.

Lots of big brand names have trusted me to help their leaders and luminaries
become CEOs (chief excitement officers) and CIOs (chief inspiration officers),
some of whom were also chief executive officers, to define their vision and turn
it into content and campaigns that people get – in an instant.

Your BlueFeet

In 2007, I developed the bluefeet method to uncover, discover and even recover
what makes you extraordinary so you can negotiate a career and life that works
for you. Call it personal branding, career marketing, or just sharing your best
self — this gives you choice. Choice of what job to take, how much to make, how
few hours you work late.

My inspiration are the blue-footed boobies of the Galapagos Islands, where I
traveled in 2006. These extraordinary birds use their unique features to attract
mates and tourists alike, achieving their goals by showing the world what makes
them so special in a completely authentic way.

I’ll be giving out free daily advice on how to advance your career, find your
dream job, and change your life.

I NEVER THOUGHT…

I NEVER THOUGHT I COULD SPEND A WEEK IN SILENCE.

But over the past decade I have done so many times. Meditation is my medicine.
It powers my performance, enriches my life and underlies all of my interactions.

I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD BE A TEACHER/TRAINER/COACH/FACILITATOR.

When a college student interviewing me for a project asked me to teach at her
school, a whole new facet of my career opened up.

I NEVER THOUGHT I’D OWN A BUSINESS.

I didn’t know how else to get a career I wanted. Now I help people see they have
options, and being an entrepreneur is just one of them.

I NEVER THOUGHT I COULD LIVE ON AN ISLAND.

I spent two and a half years living and working in Bahrain, a country in the
Persian Gulf. Many people thought my career would take a big hit. I ended up
consulting for Coca-Cola and Boeing.

I NEVER THOUGHT MUCH ABOUT MY CAREER FOR THE FIRST 15 YEARS, OR MY LIFE AT THAT
TIME.

I sleep-walked my way through both. I got promoted in work. I reached my bottom
in life. I thank God for both.

I NEVER THOUGHT I’D BE A PUBLISHED WRITER.

I was the only person in junior high school honors English who didn’t make it
into senior honors English. I flunked the grammar test. I went on to become the
copyeditor of choice for one of the toughest journalists in town.
