How do I qualify for a refund?

 * For a full refund, reach out to us within 30 days of the date your aligners
   arrive at your home.

 * Register your aligners before starting treatment, either in your account
   online or via our mobile app.

 * For a partial refund after the original 30 days, reach out to us and we’ll
   provide instructions on how to return all your unused aligners to
   SmileDirectClub.



How do I qualify for a touch-up during treatment?

 * Wear your clear aligners for the prescribed amount of time

 * Complete regular virtual Smile Check-ins™

 * Receive approval from your prescribing dentist

 * Be current on your payments



How do I qualify for a touch-up after treatment?

 * Replace retainers every 6 months

 * Wear your retainers as prescribed

 * Receive a touch-up approval from a SmileDirectClub state-licensed dentist or
   orthodontist



Are my results guaranteed?

Yes. You can expect the results you achieve at the end of your Smile Journey™ to
reflect those you saw in your original doctor-approved treatment plan. Of
course, just like any other clinical treatment, your plan may need some
adjustments along the way. This is completely normal. That’s why your plan is

touch-ups, at no additional charge.

How do I return my aligners?

Follow these steps to return your aligners:

 1. To ensure a full refund, make sure to return your unused aligners, in their
    original bags, within 30 days of receiving them.

 2. Please note, you are responsible for shipping costs. We recommend using a
    trackable carrier such as FedEx or UPS. This way, even if a shipment is lost
    in transit, we can process your refund.

How do I know if I’m eligible for an aligner touch-up?

You could be eligible for an aligner touch-up if you:

 1. Wear your aligners as prescribed throughout your smile plan, except when
    eating or drinking anything other than cool water.

 2. Register your aligners at SmileDirectClub.com/login.

 3. Respond to each regular Smile Check-in™ from your doctor by sending an email
    with the requested photos.



I missed a check-in (or forgot to register my aligners or order retainers), and
I’m not sure my Lifetime Smile Guarantee™ is still in effect. Is there anything
I can do to become eligible again?

Things come up. We get it.

If you are currently in treatment, you will become eligible again as long as
you:

 1. Check in your aligners (check your email or the app to do this)

 2. Complete your future Smile Check-ins™ (via email or our app)

 3. Are current on your payments

 4. Purchase retainers after treatment, replace them every 6 months and wear
    them as prescribed



If you just finished treatment, you can become eligible again as long as you:

 1. Are current on your payments

 2. Replace retainers every 6 months and wear them as prescribed
