PAYMENTS FOR PASSPORTS AND OTHER CONSULAR SERVICES

 1. The Ghana High Commission wishes to inform the General public that aside
    from the Government of Ghana approved fees published on our official
    websites for Visas, Passports, Emergency Travel Certificates (ETC’s) and
    other consular services, the Mission does not charge any extra
    administrative fees.
 2. Any other monies or charges paid to any person for any purpose do not come
    to the Government of Ghana and are not part of what is charged by the
    Mission.
 3. For the avoidance of doubt, the Mission runs a cashless payment system.
    Kindly find below the services provided by the Mission for which it is
    authorized to charge:

 

A) VISA APPLICATION FEE :

Visa Type Normal Visa (R) *Express Visa(R) Single (3 Mons) R900 R1,750 Multiple
(6 Mons) R1,400 R2,050 Multiple (1 Yr) R2,400 R3,550

 

B) PASSPORT APPLICATION FEE :

Service Type Charges Biometric Passport : New – Normal | 32 Pages R1,700
Biometric Passport : Renewal – Normal | 32 Pages R1,700 Biometric Passport :
Stolen – Normal | 32 Pages R3,300 Biometric Passport : Missing/Damaged – Normal
| 32 Pages R3,300

 

C) EMERGENCY TRAVEL CERTIFICATE: R 1,000

D) ATTESTATION: R 600

E) AUTHENTICATION: R 600

F) LEGALIZATION & AUTHENTICATION: R 1,000
