…well, it WAS. (Now it’s a .35 - .50 caliber state. We have people shooting .416
Rigby and .375 H&H mag, for Pete’s sake!)

My son shoots a levergun in .44 mag and my daughter and daughter-in-law shoot
bolt guns in 350 Legend. I still cling, stubbornly, to 450 Bushmaster.

TIMNEY TRIGGER AND 80% LOWERS

It's something I did years ago, maybe I posted it on the armory.
I have one 80 I whittled that functions fine with regular trigger groups but
when the Timney cassette was used, I could pull the trigger on safe and it would
go off when I moved the selector to fire. It functions fine in other 80s. Any
ideas?
For what it's worth, all of my 80s are looking good, not like some of the
abortions seen on the web.

HOLY MOLY, PRICES!

I haven't had to replenish my supplies in a few years, but was getting a little
short on srp.  I thought about getting a couple k srp as well as a lb of 2400 at
precision reloading since I could stop and pick up my order Monday. $100/k for
primers and $52+/lb for 2400!
Back when I had to walk uphill both ways through snow to school, primers were
under .01 and 2400 cost $12/lb.
I might bite the bullet on primers,  but I have more than enough unique and h
universal to last a lifetime. I guess I don't need top energy levels to kill
paper and soda cans.
Thankfully,  I've got plenty of surp 844 and imr4895.
I no longer need lrp, and have a few k of those, but I looked at several mail
order places out of curiosity. It appears that lrp are are somewhere between
hen's teeth and unicorn farts.

Bottom line: Mild mint scent and flavor with just a hint of bitterness from the
caffeine. Dissolves readily when chewed. After 30 minutes we felt a little more
alert and energized. 2 Thumbs up!

I’m using Dad’s old field glasses



They’re not awesome. I’d like a monocular- the new ones zoom or focus one-
handed. But I’d like not to have to remove my glasses. Suggestions?
