issue to honor Dr. Lynne S. Taylor, the Retter Distinguished Professor of
Pharmacy in the Department of Industrial and Physical Pharmacy at Purdue
University.  Professor Taylor will be recognized for her long-term contributions
to the advancement of the pharmaceutical sciences and as one of the Giants of
the Pharmaceutical Sciences.

NITROSOAMINE IMPURITIES IN PHARMACEUTICALS

Since the unexpected detection of N-nitroso-dimethylamine in Valsartane in 2018,
five years have passed. During this period, a plethora of work has been done by
regulatory authorities, industry and academia to tackle the risk of nitrosamine
contaminations in pharmaceuticals.
