This message is intended for the staff of health insurance issuers and
third-party administrators responsible for External Data Gathering Environment
(EDGE) server operations, Risk Adjustment operations, Information Technology,
Compliance, and Finance.




The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) staged the benefit year (BY)
2022 Archive command on Monday, July 10, 2023, at 12:01 AM. Issuers must execute
this command as soon as possible.

 

Please see below for command details:

 * BY 2022 Archive Command
 * Staged July 10, 2023, at 12:01 AM
 * Staged for most issuers
 * Issuers that have not completed the BY 2022 Risk Adjustment Recalibration
   command will receive the BY 2022 Archive command at a later date




CMS will provide additional details on the Archive process during the BY 2022
EDGE Server Annual Data Archive Confirmation webinar on Tuesday, July 11, 2023.




The opening of the BY 2023 EDGE data submission window is contingent upon all
issuers completing the BY 2022 Archive process.
