ABOUT BRILLIANT FILM ACADEMY


Brilliant Film Academy is the premier destination for top-notch film training
for passionate young people aged 11 - 18+ in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and
Buckinghamshire.

 

Located in Kings Langley (near Hemel Hempstead) our academy is dedicated to
providing high-quality film education, ensuring that aspiring filmmakers can
access exceptional learning experiences. Our expert instructors are here to
guide you on your cinematic journey, from pre-production, filming, and all the
way to post. You will be hands-on, with continual practical filmmaking every
week.

THE
TEACHERS

We pride ourselves on having the best industry professionals as teachers. Our
film teachers have years of experience and have worked on countless projects
spanning numerous genres.

Our students benefit from their knowledge and support, and we offer regular
workshops from visiting film professionals to help students keep up with the
latest trends and techniques.

THE
EQUIPMENT

With access to top quality equipment, our students have everything they need to
create beautiful and professional-quality film productions.


No matter their age, students are taught to utilise this equipment effectively,
allowing them to create truly stunning films that will captivate an audience. We
believe in ongoing practical film-making every week.


THE
CURRICULUM

Our film making training goes beyond just the basics. We offer a comprehensive
curriculum that covers all aspects of the craft;

 screenwriting, editing, sound design, directing, costume and production design,
producing, post-production and more!


We also enjoy many events like cinema screenings, workshops, and studio tours,
to make our student's learning experience truly unique and unforgettable.


OUR
MISSION

We're passionate about supporting aspiring filmmakers in achieving their goals.
Our film making training program is tailored to provide the tools and resources
necessary to help students take the next step in their career after school,
whether that's further training or moving into the industry itself.

We're based in Hertfordshire near several huge film studios, including
Leavesden, Pinewood and Elstree, and also have connections with award-winning
production company Goldfinch.

Membership is paid monthly. We operate 39 weeks of a year (excluding school
holidays) and fees are spread over 12 equal monthly payments
