MONDAY, AUGUST 26, 2013

So I often take walks at night before going to bed. On Saturday night I was on a
walk in an alley off Belmont on my way home. It was dark and I stepped in a pot
hole and before I knew what was happening, my face collided with pavement and
gravel. A total freak accident made worse by smashing my glasses, leaving me
nearly blind. It couldn't have happened at a worse time as I'm financially
strapped and don't have the money for new glasses. I figured what do I have to
lose except a little pride by asking for help? And I don't mind giving in
return...
My heart is heavy, to be in such a pickle. I'm humiliated and humbled. I'm also
very appreciative of any donation. I don't like doing this and to show my
appreciation I'll send you a piece of original art of mine. I've been working on
a series for some time and as a result I have about 30 pieces to give. I haven't
been real sure that these would make it on anybody's walls and I've really been
working on them to give myself something to work on. I can't think of a better
use. My next posts will be some photos of them. Stay tuned...
