HELP PROTECT CHILDREN IN UKRAINE.

Millions of children and families are in immediate danger as war continues in
Ukraine.

3.3 million children in Ukraine are in need of support. Homes, schools, water
supplies and hospitals have been damaged or destroyed. Children have been
separated from their families, and hundreds of thousands of people have been
left without clean water, food or electricity. Explosives are a daily threat to
children’s lives.

We are working around the clock in Ukraine and at the borders of neighbouring
countries, providing access to clean water, health care services and other
critical support.

With your kind support, we can help more children and families affected by this
crisis.

Please donate to help protect children in Ukraine.

7.5 million

children have been deeply impacted by the conflict

9-year-old Masha stands in front of the conflict-damaged exterior of her home in
eastern Ukraine. Together with her mother, four sisters and a brother, Masha
lives in an apartment in a partially destroyed high-rise building on the
outskirts of town, just a few kilometres from the ‘contact line’.

HOW WE ARE HELPING CHILDREN IN UKRAINE?

We have been working tirelessly to keep children safe since this conflict began
eight years ago and are determined to remain in Ukraine to reach the most
vulnerable children and families.

We are working closely with our UN partners in Poland, Moldova, Belarus,
Romania, Slovakia, Hungary and Czech Republic, to help provide humanitarian
support for children and families fleeing the war.

 * Over 4.5 million children and women in Ukraine have been able to access
   primary health care.
 * Over 3.5 million people have been provided with access to safe drinking water
and over 965,000 people have received critical water, sanitation and hygiene
   supplies.
 * While UNICEF-supported mental health and psychosocial support interventions
have reached over 2.2 million children and caregivers.
 * And over 850,000 children have been engaged in education.
 * Working with local governments and the UNHCR, we have created 25 Blue Dot
safe spaces for children and women. Blue dot shelters provide a safe space
for families seeking refuge as well as providing water and sanitation
   supplies.

£39

£39 could help provide a family with an emergency water and hygiene kit.

DONATING BY PHONE

If you’re in the UK and would prefer to make a donation by phone, you can call
our dedicated donation line: 0300 330 5699.

You can help us reach more children affected by the crisis. Please donate today
and help us protect children in Ukraine.

For the first 6 months, monthly donations made to this appeal will go towards
funding our work to support children affected by the Ukraine conflict. After
that, donations will go to support our work around the world. In the unlikely
event that the funds raised exceed what’s needed for the appeal, we will direct
any excess funds to support our work to help keep children safe and healthy
around the world.

DONATING ITEMS AND VOLUNTEERING

We’re currently not accepting any items for the emergency appeal. These kind
offers are really appreciated, but any donated items will need to be sorted,
cleaned and transported which could impact our response, so please consider
making a monetary donation instead to our emergency appeals.

We’re not currently sending any volunteers to Ukraine.

The best way you can help support our emergency work in Ukraine is to donate
money to the appeal. Please give what you can, your donations will help us to
protect children in Ukraine.
