ABOUT US

"We're guided by seasoned mentors, Tafia and Elaine, hailing from FabLab Bali.
As high school students, our mission is to discover innovative solutions for our
local waste issues, particularly focusing on seafood waste in our community."

Welcome to CORALISTIC, an innovative initiative at the forefront of
sustainability. We're dedicated to unlocking the untapped potential of seashell
waste to pioneer a transformative biomaterial for the creation of artificial
coral reefs. Our visionary approach draws inspiration from the inherent
composition similarities between coral and seashells—both primarily composed of
calcium carbonate(CaCO3). Leveraging this shared elemental foundation, we've
recognized seashells as an ideal and environmentally fitting resource for the
restoration and revitalization of coral reefs. By harnessing the natural
properties of seashells, we aim not only to address local waste concerns but
also to contribute significantly to the preservation and regeneration of
delicate marine ecosystems.

TRANSFORMING WASTE INTO ART

Location : Ubud(Anomali Coffee Ubud)

Date : June 23 2023

Rachel Ella Taylor (UK) and Bell Society (ID) showcase how to transform coffee
waste into co-created wonders in “Coffee Shop Culture”.

We went to a workshop held at Anomali coffee ubud, and learnt a lot of from
recyling used stuffs especially coffee waste that was utilized to make
decorations for cafes and places.


TEAM BUILDING AT UBUD

Location : Ubud(Bali,Indonesia)

Date : June 23 2023

Coralistic members used their spare time after (Transforming Waste into Art)
workshop to explore Ubud.

We leisurely walked beneath the golden sky of Ubud, exploring a local store and
market to purchase souvenirs. Fortunately, we encountered a wonderfully friendly
local who graciously guided us through the charms of Ubud.


CITY OF WELLBEING

Coralistic members exhibit their products for the first time at City of Well
Being

We showcased our prototype resulting from extensive research and
experimentation, presenting it to the attendees. Moreover, we actively engaged
in meaningful discourse by exchanging ideas with the individuals who
participated in the event.


JIMBARAN FESTIVAL (JIMBAFEST)

Coralistic members exhibit their final products and present it to people who
came to our booth at Jimbaran Festival !!

After an arduous and sustained endeavor spanning approximately six months, our
assiduous efforts culminated in the fruition of a well-executed exhibition.
Deeply appreciative, we are grateful for the favorable outcome.
