WHAT, WHEN, WHERE?

Between the 1st of March and the 23rd of May 2014, with kick-off events:

Bucharest Hackathon:

1-2 March – inside Politehnica University of Bucharest

Cluj-Napoca Hackathon:

8 – 9 March, inside Liberty Technology Park


STEP 1: THE HACKATHON

Each hackathon starts with a pitching session where you get to present your idea
in front of the audience. Teams are organically formed around the most
appreciated ideas.

You then have 24 hours to build your MVP and develop your business concept under
the close guidance of entrepreneurs, tech specialists and industry leaders that
will be your mentors.

In the end you’ll pitch your product in front of a jury and the best 26 teams
will continue with the pre-acceleration program!

STEP 2: THE PROGRAM

From March to May you will develop your product together with exceptional
mentors and guest speakers. You will attend TechTalks and mentoring sessions
that will help you find solutions to the problems you face as a young
entrepreneur and will support you in your efforts of building a viable product.

Here you’ll find out more about customer discovery and validation, marketing
and communication for startups, business models, sales, pitching, and financing.
All in all, you’ll learn what it takes to build an innovative tech product with
disruptive potential.


STEP 3: BOOST DAY

In April you get to show us your progress by pitching your product in front of
the audience. You’ll receive feedback and expert advice that will keep you on
the right track and will help you grow faster!


STEP 4: DEMO DAY

At the end of the program you will attend the final Demo Day where you will
pitch in front of investors. We have prepared prizes and special awards for the
best teams.
