two systems. This left me in two systems when it came time to review and
schedule for the upcoming week. In the past, I’ve had Trello step in when I want
a Kanban view. While I could use sub-tasks or tags to capture the state of
progress on a video, it’s far easier to see where I’m at with a Kanban view. In
Kanban view, I create columns for writing a script, editing a video, uploading a
video, and finally having a video completed on a course. This view is ideal when
I’m working on a new SkillShare course. In addition to being a traditional GTD
style task manager, TickTick offers a Kanban view. This has stopped a rush on
Friday when I realize I missed some video I was suppposed to produce and now
have to do everything on a compressed timeline. It’s also meant that I don’t
miss a video because I entered it only in a specific app that holds only my
content calendar.īy using TickTick and having everything in a single spot, I’ve
been able to keep a handle on all the tasks I need to accomplish. Keeping my
content calendar in my task manager has stopped dual entry of projects. This
task is tagged with #content-calendar, then I can look at an entire month and
drag out my tasks onto the days that I want to publish the next video. I use
this alongside my #content-calendar tag to plan videos for the coming months on
my YouTube channel.Įach video project (TickTick calls them lists) gets a final
task that matches the name of the video I’m working on. You can also filter your
calendar so you only see tasks with a specific tag. A week that’s overbooked
leads to more stress and bad days with my family. When tasks don’t inhabit the
time inside my week, it’s easy to take on too much.

With previous task managers, I’d look at the tasks in a week and always
overestimate how much I could get done. Once I have tasks on the calendar, I can
adjust the duration of them and move them around to fit inside the week as it
exists. Then, when I move to planning the week, I can filter the tasks tagged
for the week and use drag and drop to get them on my calendar. When I do my
weekly review, I tag any tasks that need to get done in the following week with
#thisweek. I don’t need two apps to see tasks and appointments because TickTick
combines these features. TickTick’s built-in calendar lets me add tasks to my
weekly calendar and build a content calendar for my YouTube channel. I
discovered years ago that when I didn’t take time to plan my week on Friday, I
dropped 20% productivity in the following week. Much like Cal Newport, I believe
that a time-blocked day is so much more productive than working through a task
list. TickTick has been ideal because of its excellent integration with my
calendars. But no task management system is ever perfect, which leads me to
regularly try new things.įor the last number of months, my ideal task manager
has been TickTick. I’ve used and loved all of the major players for macOS and
iOS at different times as my needs have changed. Like many of you, I’ve been in

Now Homura has a strong urge and responsibility to become a strong enough leader
so that she can not only lead her team but protect them as they grow to become
fearsome shinobi. However, leading to the incident that forced Homura into
exile, her relationship grew stronger with her comrades as they chose to follow
instead of abandoning her. Her own relationship with her comrades was not always
strong, seeing as how none of them trusted her or even liked each other for that
matter. She does not like being deceived but accepts the fact that it can be
used as a tool in the shinobi world. Homura has shown to have trust issues due
to her history of being a shinobi. When fighting a well versed enemy, Homura can
become ruthless and is not afraid to kill another if presented the
chance/reason. This is especially displayed towards her heated rivalry with
Asuka. When fighting, she becomes very intense and focuses mainly on testing her
opponent's strength to see them worthy of even fighting. This normally leads to
her saying the complete opposite of what she truly means and is often teased of
this by her comrades being called a mindless thinker who often doesn't want
others to know how she feels especially by Haruka. Her desire to get things done
tends to land her in awkward situations, especially if it is concerning Hanzō.
She can become rather impatient at times and tends to display headstrong
qualities when trying to solve a present problem.

She also follows the ideal from her former sensei, Rin, that silence is a
shinobi's best weapon. She's not one for conversation as she believes that
actions speak louder than words. She can be calm until a present situation calls
for her to get serious. Her eyes also change color, where they become red to
accommodate her red hair.Īt the surface of her appearance, Homura has a rather
cool demeanor to her upon interaction. That being that her hair is now dyed
red/orange (crimson) color and is let from its usual ponytail state. In her
Crimson mode, Homura's appearance changes ever so slightly. In addition to six

   that one little indie game could try to inspire such powerful lessons in a
   few hours, but if you haven’t played Superliminal yet, now might be the
   perfect time. The game wants you to experience what it has to offer and have
   fun doing it, and in that same vein it wants you, the player, to try and see
   the fun in everything you do. It is exactly as long as it needs to be for the
   sake of the narrative and is filled with unique and interesting puzzles to
   always keep you on your toes. Superliminal is painfully short, but it is so
   for a good reason.
   
   The world is filled with different things to enjoy in your every day life,
   but whether or not you let it is, well, a matter of perspective. They are
   meant to be enjoyed and to stimulate while also letting you relax. The entire
   concept of the game is that your character has engaged in this program to
   relax and unwind, to de-stress as people need to do. Despite these
   philosophical observations, Superliminal still sets out to let the players
   have fun. The penultimate and final answer on this list should be a no
