Great course covering only work related stress, i will add also the stress
created by colleagues and how to handle toxic environment created by colleagues
and how to handle the environment . This is the most biggest issue with respect
to burnout . Related to work that can be overcome as per the course is saying .

Hope i was helpfull and you can develop and/or extend the course .

This course has been really good. Did not realise there is good/bad stress.

The course does give a lot of excellent information, but because I'm familiar
with the medical/psychiatrist diagnosis criteria for panic attack, anxiety, and
ptsd, there were some things that didn't sit totally right with me. I'm sure
it's about 85% a me thing, and that people who haven't studied or been diagnosed
with any of those may have a different take. It should be noted in the course
materials that if one is experiencing the physical symptoms (which are almost
entirely symptoms of a panic attack) that won't go away, they should be screened
by a medical practitioner. And there should probably be the "if you are
experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency please seek medical help." --
for those of us who have had anxiety and panic attacks, we become familiar with
the chest tightness/chest pains, but it's also good to remind folks that MANY
many patients first diagnosis of panic attack is in the ER/ED when they think
they're having a heart attack.

I found the practical guidelines and mindfulness aspects of the course to be
helpful and informative, and i recognize my understanding of the subject may be
different from the ideal student this course is designed for, so I still
heartily endorse this. I also would like to follow up with, if you are in
distress and have been for some time, it's okay to seek medical or psychological
help to get you to a safer level where you can work on your "bad" stress with
less risk, and it's okay to do therapy. Therapy saves lives.
