GREAT TIME IN CHICAGO
I haven’t been in Chicago in quite some time and staying at the Merrit was
an extremely pleasurable experience. Staff was fun, friendly and attentive.
Aside from construction out-front, everything was clean and well kept.

GREAT LOCATION, FUN STAY
The location can’t be beat. We had a river view room and loved it. The
hotel is clean and well maintained. The neighborhood is full of bars and
restaurants. We will be back.

GREAT STAFF AND LOCATION OF THE HOTEL
It’s the people who work at The Embassy Suites River North that make your
stay a wonderful experience. I stay at the hotel twice a year for up to 10
nights. You recognize some of the same employees and some do recognize you.
The hotel is located in a great location on the River. There are so many
great restaurants located within a short distance from the hotel.

WORST EVER
I’ve stayed here 8-10 times I will never again. I had the worst experience
I’ve ever had. I had late check out at 4pm which I’m grateful for. However
after a long day at the tradeshow @3:00pm I get back to my room 1 hour
before checkout to eat my food that I had left in the fridge and to shower
before I headed to the airport. I also always leave Do not Disturb on my
door. Which is wild that the house keeping still went into my room and
whiped out all my food. I have allergies that I can only eat certain foods.
I was left with nothing. I had to starve until i got back to New York. I
have a video of the house keeper saying she came in with the do not disturb
sign and thought that I left. This was a scary and the worst experience of
my hotel staying life. The construction in the hotel was a different point
that they should always tell guest before checking in. I walk out in the
morning to smoke in my face From all the smoke. I don’t even care about
that. How do they come into my room with the do not disturb sign on the
door and checkout wasn’t even over yet. This will forever haunt me.

Room was clean, but the tub was dirty and flaking up? Hotel was in a great
