On 17 September, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the United
Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and partners convened for SDG Digital at
United Nations Headquarters in New York.

Digital technologies are key to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals
(SDGs). This was the moment – ahead of the 2023 SDG Summit – to take stock of
achievements, gaps, and opportunities, catalyse action, and step up digital
support for the 2030 Agenda.

As part of the SDG Action Weekend, the event focused on bringing digital SDG
solutions to scale, including through new High Impact Initiatives for
sustainable, inclusive digital transformation.




SDG Digital

SDG Digital convened leaders from government, civil society, private sector,
youth and academia to take stock on the SDGs and to discover the power of
digital to accelerate them. Read more

Acceleration Agenda

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is at perilous risk of failure. The
SDG Digital Acceleration Agenda showcases concrete examples of how data and
digital technologies can be used to bring the SDGs back on track. It provides
tools to effectively design risk-sensitive digital transformation. Read more

GameChangers Award

The SDG Digital GameChangers Award honoured individuals and organizations that
are working towards rescuing the Global Goals through digital technologies. The
award ceremony took place on the eve of SDG Digital at the UN Headquarters in
New York. Read more

Digital Public Infrastructure: Scaling Inclusive and Open Digital Ecosystems for
the SDGs

The UN High Impact Initiative on DPI aims to catalyze the collective action by
ensuring that DPI is safe, accessible, affordable, green, financed, and
future-ready, through people-centered and interoperable digital building blocks
