I HAVE A STRONG

TRACK RECORD

OF MAKING DIFFERENCE

EXPERIENCED COUNCILLOR

AND GREEN CHAMPION

As an experienced local councillor and former Deputy Mayor, I have actively
campaigned to protect the environment and safeguard precious green spaces.

PROVEN WINNER IN

TORY STRONGHOLDS

I have fought tirelessly – and won – in Tory areas before, and I know what we
need to do to build a winning campaign here in North Somerset too.

NHS ADVOCATE AND

HEALTHCARE LEADER

I am a passionate advocate for our NHS, and an award winning regional leader of
pharmacy services, with a track record of delivery for communities.

LIFELONG ACTIVIST AND

DYNAMIC CAMPAIGNER

I have a wealth of experience gained as a Labour Party activist and in multiple

PUTTING PEOPLE FIRST

IN NORTH SOMERSET

As an award winning pharmacist and former local councillor and deputy mayor, I
have an extensive track record of service to the community.

I’m accustomed to building and leading large and successful teams. I’ve
represented the Labour Party in a number of elections including as a South West
MEP candidate.

This experience means I know what it takes to build a powerful campaign that can
take on the Tories and win. It’s time for change in North Somerset and I’m the
candidate who can make it happen.

MY PLAN TO TURN

NORTH SOMERSET

RED

1

BUILD AN ELECTION WINNING MACHINE

HAVING FOUGHT FIVE TOUGH ELECTIONS, I HAVE THE CAMPAIGN EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO
WIN.

2

GROW OUR MOVEMENT AND NURTURE TALENT

I KNOW HOW TO ACTIVATE MEMBERS AND SUPPORTERS, AND WILL NURTURE TALENT IN OUR
CLP.

3

I WILL STAND UP FOR OUR COMMUNITIES

CALLING OUT LIAM FOX ON HIS FAILURES, FIGHTING FOR A BETTER FUTURE HERE.

MY PRIORITIES

AS OUR NEXT

LABOUR MP

REBUILD OUR NHS

& PUBLIC SERVICES

Our NHS and care system is being failed by this Tory Government. As your Labour
MP, I will fight for services we can be proud of.

SAFER STRONGER

COMMUNITIES

Our public services are at breaking point. We need investment into neighbourhood
policing and accessible, reliable local services.

TACKLING THE

CLIMATE CRISIS

I will fight to protect our precious environment and our stunning nature here in
North Somerset for future generations to enjoy.
