MEET THE TEAM

JAMES CRAIG

James, originally from Phoenix, fell in love at one point traveling now resides
here in Illinois. James has a different story about his DJ origins, which most
DJ’s often describe “sliding” into DJing gradually. James simply answered a
classified ad. A lot of people have said even before I became a DJ, “You have a
silver tongue; the gift of gab; you’re able to flow with the words; to know when
it’s funny and when it isn’t.” And basically, entertainment and showing people a
good time—keeping a good “flow.” We set ourselves apart with interactive events
and group activities. Because not everyone comes to dance, so how do we keep
that entertainment flowing. So now I almost do not even like to call myself a
DJ. I like to call myself an entertainer. It is how long you are going to take
on an interactive event. As the saying goes, you can please many people, so many
times, but you can’t please all the people all the time; but you do your best.
And that’s kind of what I do. To be a part of someone’s special moment, such as
the father-daughter dance or the mother-son dance… I almost get kind of
teary-eyed and choked up, because I’m part of the creation of that moment. I
like to stay humble in what I do, of course, but to make people happy, I go
above and beyond to meet or exceed their expectations. They say that you never
work a day in your life as long as you love your job, and that’s how it felt
since I’ve been doing this.




BOBBY A.

Bobby is an adept emcee whose top priority is you! With a degree in
Contemporary, Urban, and Popular music from Columbia College Chicago, he takes
the power of music seriously. He works every day to improve his skills, whether
that be as a DJ instructor to dozens of students, mixing and mastering engineer
for clients, or as a classic emcee. An event with Bobby will meet all your
requests, and more!




MICHAEL M.

Mike has a wealth of knowledge in music technology. He has a bachelor’s degree
in Music from the University of St Francis. Mike believes when joining At Your
Request, it gave him the opportunity to set a higher standard for overall
entertainment. Mike looks forward to giving the guests a great time at your
event.




NATHAN C.

Nathan is born and raised in Illinois. He is tech savvy and problem solver.
Nathan has a wide range of music knowledge. He loves dance music won't hesitate
to dance with you! Nathan loves interacting with people!

Born and raised in Illinois, Michael is as genuine as a guy could be. He has a
big heart and opens it to anyone in need. Michael has had a passion for music
and entertainment since he was 8 years old. His attention to detail and
professionalism makes him a great asset to At Your Request Entertainment. He
understands that customer service is a priority, and it shows in how happy his
couples and event bookings give him so many compliments.
