“We can’t wait to get back to doing what we love, thank you for being patient
with us during these uncertain times.

The safety of our fans, our crew and ourselves is the most important thing but
if we can play then we will play! We have managed to reschedule some of our 2020
tour dates and any tickets purchased will be valid for these new dates.
Unfortunately we were not able reschedule all of the dates so refunds will be
available from your point of purchase and we will come and see you when we can.

Pins return to Brighton with their new album ‘Hot Slick’ after a sold out show
in Feb.  This time they are taking on October and the perfect setting of The
Green Door Store (early show)

Since the release of Girls Like Us in 2013, female trio PINS has exuded strength
in their danceable alternative post-punk transmissions and earned the trust,
endorsement, and creative blessings of rock royalty such as Iggy Pop, with whom
they collaborated on 2017’s The Bad Thing EP. 2015’s Wild Nights earned
widespread critical acclaim including an Album of the Week nod from Stereogum
and profiles in Harper’s Bazaar, Interview Magazine, The Guardian, DAZED, and
i-D. In recent years, PINS toured on both sides of the pond alongside everyone
from Sleater-Kinney and Warpaint to Best Coast and The Subways.

ĠENN:

As befitting a band who take their name from the Maltese word for frenzy, ĠENN
thrive amongst chaos. “Craziness follows us,” laughs lead singer Leona Farrugia,
alluding to the quartet’s colourful history, which has so far featured robbery,
legal disputes, long-distance collaborations, and three members of the band
relocating to Brighton from Malta. Guitarist Janelle Borg concurs. “[ĠENN] could
have been a support group, but we decided to make music instead,” she deadpans.

Jokes aside, it’s this unique outlook and tight-knit gang mentality that make
ĠENN such a thrilling proposition musically, as evidenced on March’s Liminal EP.
Released through London-based indie Everything Sucks Music, the six-song
collection sees Leona, Janelle and their bandmates Leanne Zammit (bass) and
Sofia Rosa Cooper (drums) contrasting searing post-punk missives with more
allusive meditations cocooned in psychedelic textures.

Mangö:

“An experimental quartet blending psychedelia and jazz fusion, challenging new
sonic possibilities”. This Brighton based quartet provide a glorious leap back
to traditional 60s psych rock with a more modernised twist of alternative rock.
Their chaotic sound combines face melting guitars with tight in the pocket jazz
rhythms and grooves.

SLANT (DJ SET):

4 fifths of Brighton based glam powerhouse SLANT will be providing a collection
of banging tunes throughout the course of the night. Keeping the party going
with their exquisite tastes in dance ridden Indie and alternative.

SLANT are an inter-galactic powerhouse. Drawing glam-rock back out of the ether
and merging it with a riot grrrl energy, in 2020 SLANT released their debut
single ‘Haircut’ and follow up alt-pop/disco track ‘La Danse’. Com’n join us!

At present we are in the process of finding out what the effect of the UK
Government’s latest advice to the public to avoid contact in social spaces means
in terms of our upcoming events.

It may mean some shows planned for the near future could be postponed to a later
date in order to safeguard our local community.
