CUSTOM DOMAIN STATUS PAGE

In order to have your status page available under your own domain, you need to:

 * 
   Create a CNAME (or ANAME or ALIAS if you prefer) record from your domain to
   page.updown.io.
 * 
   Create a TXT record on _updown.yourdomain (mind the prefix) containing
   "updown-page=xxxx" xxxx being the path of your status page, without the
   hostname. For example ngg8 or p/3ji4k for multi-site status pages (mind the
   p/).
 * 
   Make sure your status page is set to public visibility

For example, in order to direct https://status.example.com to
https://updown.io/ngg8, you need to create the following records in your DNS:

status CNAME page.updown.io. _updown.status TXT "updown-page=ngg8"


Example: https://meta.updown.io and https://demo.updown.io.



The SSL certificate will automatically be generated for your custom domains.
