Welcome to String Poets


HIRE A STRING QUARTET FOR YOUR WASHINGTON D.C. WEDDING



String Poets Quartets are a great choice for your wedding ceremony. The
ensembles have performed over 2000 weddings and are made up of talented
musicians. They can perform classical, jazz, and modern music.

These unusually talented string ensembles set assurance to create a wonderful
and unforgettable ambience at your event, bringing a touch of sophistication to
your wedding ceremony, drinks reception or dinner.

We will fill the space with enchanting music that will make your ceremony extra
special. You can even have them play the recessional song as you walk back up
the aisle. If you want a more personalized experience, you can upgrade the group
to include a vocalist.

The string quartet comprises cello, viola, and a double violin, the ideal recipe
to accompany a reception or for entertaining your guests at your reception
drinks. Available for hire as a trio or duo The band offers an extensive
repertoire of music that can be customized for every occasion.







String Poets Ensemble is made from only the best well-known and talented people
from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD, each having extensive experience
performing in studios, orchestras, as well as on international and national
stages.

wedding celebration last weekend! You helped make it an unforgettable weekend.

We had the String Poets play at our Catholic ceremony and their music was
beautiful! The whole day was a big blur but I knew that the music was great
after all of our guests asked about them and complimented them. Then when we
watched our video - we again saw how wonderful they were! Highly recommend and
Radhi was Super easy to work with!

I wanted to follow up with you and let you know how pleased I was with the
quartet that played at my garden wedding last weekend in Alexandria. They were
all exceptional musicians and our guests really appreciated all of the beautiful
music that was played prior, during and after the ceremony. The two songs that
they accompanied my brother-in-law on (The Prayer and Exodus) were simply moving
and emotional for all. My brother-in-law, who is a professional opera singer and
who has sung in many venues around the world, was most impressed with the
quartet. Bravo! I spoke briefly with Jose (thought it was you) and told him that
I wanted to tip the four of them, but would work through you to do so. Please
advise how I would do so. I was not in a position to do so at that moment.

Thank you all very much for a wonderful performance at our wedding! Your
professionalism, timing and etiquette were above reproach. I am just sorry that
I wasn't able to enjoy every minute:) As the bride, I was a little busy getting
ready and posing for an endless string of photographs. My new husband and I were
very, very pleased. Please let all of the musicians know that they were an

Many thanks to the String Poets for playing at our wedding. The music played a
very important part in our wedding, as you know, and you performed the pieces
just as I wanted them to be played! At one point I was swaying to the music(I
think it was Vocalise) and my husband even noticed me doing it, just in the
moment and enjoying everything about the day. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet you
in person! I was running a bit late from the hairdresser and I just had to get
upstairs and get dressed and be ready in 30 min. Thank you again for making our
