FIND THE USERNAME AND PASSWORD FOR YOUR TRAILHEAD PLAYGROUND

A Trailhead Playground is your personal environment to learn and complete
Trailhead challenges. Trailhead manages the access to your Trailhead Playgrounds
and you usually never have to worry about logging into them manually. However,
sometimes you may need to know the username and password for your Trailhead
Playground.

Pro tip: If you find yourself needing assistance with Hands-on Challenges, check
out the Enhanced Trailhead Hands-on Challenge Support Experience to help you
find just what you are looking for easier and faster than ever.

In most Trailhead Playgrounds, it’s easy to get your username and password.
First, launch your Trailhead Playground by clicking Launch from any hands-on
challenge. If you see a tab in your playground that says Get Your Login
Credentials, great! Follow the steps in the Your Playground Has the Playground
Starter App section below.

If not, click to launch the App Launcher, then click Playground Starter and keep
reading. If you don’t see the Playground Starter app, that’s OK—skip to the Your
Playground Doesn’t Have the Playground Starter App section.

IMPORTANT: Never change your username in a Trailhead Playground. This prevents
Trailhead from checking your work and awarding badges/points for completing
challenges.

Your Playground Has the Playground Starter App

If your playground has the Playground Starter app, follow these steps to find
your username and reset your password.

1. Click the Get Your Login Credentials tab.

2. Make a note of the username shown on the page.

3. Click Reset My Password. This sends an email to the address associated with
your username.

4. Click the link in the email. The email also includes your Trailhead
Playground username.

5. Enter a new password, confirm it, and click Change Password.

YOUR PLAYGROUND DOESN’T HAVE THE PLAYGROUND STARTER APP

Find your username and reset your password by following the steps below.

1. From any hands-on challenge in Trailhead, click the default hands-on org to
view the choose a hands-on org screen and select your Trailhead Playground.
Click Launch.

 * Can’t remember the name of your Trailhead Playground? Click the avatar next
to your name in the top right in Trailhead and select Hands-on Orgs to see
   all of your connected orgs.
 * Can’t find a hands-on challenge? All projects are hands-on, so click Learn >
Projects from the top navigation and select any project that you haven't yet
completed. Click a link from the list of steps and scroll to the bottom of
   that page.

2. In the top right, click and select Setup.

3. Enter Users in the Quick Find box, then select Users.

4. Check the box next to your name (A). Make note of your username (B).

5. Click Reset Password(s) and then OK.

6. This sends an email to the address associated with your username. If you
don't see the email, check your spam folder.
7. Click the link in the email.

8. Enter a new password and confirm it

9. Click Change Password.

Now you have the username and password for your Trailhead Playground!
