EGYPT ACCOUNTS: WE’RE MOVING AWAY FROM PAPER-BASED TRANSACTIONS

Last updated: 28 August 2023

Starting 1 November 2023, HSBC Egypt is switching to online payments to help
reduce the need for paper forms and branch visits.

What this means for you

From 1 November 2023, requests to create, amend, or cancel payment instructions
and trade transactions for HSBC Egypt accounts will be available through HSBCnet
only. HSBC Egypt will no longer accept paper-based payment and trade
instructions for processing.

To view and create transactions, you’ll need to have the required payment
permissions. System Administrators can review and update permissions for
individual users at any time through the ’Edit user permissions’ screen in User
Management.
