Close EGYPT ACCOUNTS: WE’RE MOVING AWAY FROM PAPER-BASED TRANSACTIONS Last updated: 28 August 2023 Starting 1 November 2023, HSBC Egypt is switching to online payments to help reduce the need for paper forms and branch visits. What this means for you From 1 November 2023, requests to create, amend, or cancel payment instructions and trade transactions for HSBC Egypt accounts will be available through HSBCnet only. HSBC Egypt will no longer accept paper-based payment and trade instructions for processing. To view and create transactions, you’ll need to have the required payment permissions. System Administrators can review and update permissions for individual users at any time through the ’Edit user permissions’ screen in User Management.
