MANAGE YOUR IMPORTS THROUGH SINGLE TRADE WINDOW

Use this service to submit full import declarations to HMRC if your goods are:
 * moving through a port using the Goods Vehicle Movement Service (GVMS)
 * entering free circulation (cleared by customs to sell or use)



BEFORE YOU START

Your organisation needs to be registered with a Government Gateway user ID and
have an EORI number linked to that user ID. If your organisation does not have
one yet, you need to get an EORI number first.

If your organisation already has an EORI number but it is not linked with your
Government Gateway user ID, you need to contact HMRC online services.

You'll also need your VAT number. Register for VAT if you do not already have
one.

If you import goods regularly, you can apply for a duty deferment account.
