INFORMATION

×

 * To register online for the next election a voter application must be
submitted not later than 29 days before the next election. The deadline to
register online for the May 5, 2026 election is 11:59 PM (local prevailing
time), Monday, April 6, 2026. Paper voter registration forms (Indiana’s VRG-7
or VRG-11 or federal voter registration form) must be hand delivered to the
county voter registration official or the Indiana Election Division before
close of business on Monday, April 6, 2026. Voter registration forms may be
mailed to the county voter registration office or the Indiana Election
Division, but the envelope must be postmarked on or before the Monday, April
6, 2026, deadline to be processed for the May 5, 2026, general election.

 * If you submit your voter registration application after the deadline, you
will be unable to vote in the next election unless you were previously
registered in Indiana. If you were previously registered in Indiana, and have
changed your name or address, you may be able to vote in the next election.
Please contact your county voter registration office for more detailed
information about the law concerning name or address changes that would apply
in your case. If you missed the deadline, your registration application (and
any name or address change update) will be processed when registration
   reopens for the next election.

 * Some military voters and their family members can register until noon on
election day. Contact your county voter registration office for information
if you may qualify to do so.

 * For those voters who have a nontraditional residence (those who are currently
homeless, mobile or live at a place where the post office does not deliver
mail), list the closest intersection to where you live in the box to the left
marked "Residence Address", then list the address of a friend or shelter,
within your county of residence, who is willing to receive mail for you in
   the box marked "Mailing Address".

WELCOME BACK!

We have added security enhancements to the Voter Portal.
Click Here to Add Two-Factor Authentication or Click Here To Proceed To Your
Portal
Don't ask me again for two-factor authentication.

Protect your voter information with two-factor authentication, another way to
keep your information secure. Two-factor authentication, or 2FA, is a form of
extra protection for online accounts, including your voter information. It
requires you to verify who you are in two ways - for example, entering your
personal information and a code sent to your email account or mobile number.

Two-Factor Authentication is not an option for voters who register without
providing an Indiana Driver's License or Identification Card issued by the
Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles. If you choose to submit a new voter
registration form and include your Indiana Driver's License or Identification
Card, you will be able to enable Two-Factor Authentication.
TWO-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION FUNCTIONALITY IS OPTIONAL.

DON'T ASK ME AGAIN FOR TWO-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION

If you prefer not to use two-factor authentication and don't want to be asked to
set it up again, select this checkbox.

You can update your two-factor authentication settings later from your My Voter
Portal Dashboard by selecting the Two-Factor Authentication link in the left
side navigation menu.

TEMPORARY PASSPHRASE

A temporary passphrase has been generated and was mailed to your mailing
address. Please use the following screens to reset your passphrase. If you
remember your original passphrase, you can still use it, or you can use the
temporary passphrase to update your settings.
If you still need help, please contact your county voter registration office for
assistance.

If you are attempting to update your registration, here is a link to the Voter
Registration form you can download and print. Paper forms must include a "wet"
signature and be mailed or hand-delivered to voter registration officials on or
before the statewide deadline.
