WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

CAN I BRING A DATE?

We have carefully selected who is allowed to bring a guest to our wedding in
order to maximize how many loved ones we can have with us for the celebration.
Please only bring a date if there is “and guest” listed on your invitation.




CAN I BRING MY KIDS?

While we love your children, we want you to fully enjoy yourselves at the
wedding! We kindly ask that you get a sitter for the night unless your invite
specifically includes your child's name.




WILL THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Our events will take place outdoors and under some covered areas. We recommend
wearing appropriate footwear for natural ground.




WHERE SHOULD I STAY?

We have secured room blocks at hotels in the area as the Hudson Valley is hard
to find rooms at the last minute. This is to help you find quality and available
accommodations. It is highly recommended that you book rooms early as the block
will fill quickly. See our accommodations page for the hotels we have secured.

Please note, we will be providing transportation to and from these hotels to
make it easier for you. The cabs and Ubers are very limited in this area and we
highly recommend against securing Air BnBs. We won’t be able to provide shuttle
service to those locations.




WILL THERE BE A SHUTTLE SERVICE PROVIDED?

Yes, we have shuttles secured which will only provide service to the hotels
listed on our accommodations page.





TRAVEL




TRAVEL BY PLANE

Buttermilk Falls is approx. 2 hours and 10 minutes from JFK Airport

Approx. 1 hour and 45 minutes from Newark Airport

Approx. 1.5 hours from Albany Airport




TRAVEL BY TRAIN

Metro North is located in Poughkeepsie, NY and is approx. 12 minutes to the
venue by car. 




TRAVEL BY CAR

From the South (NYC) or the North (Albany): Take the NYS Thruway to Exit 18 (New
Paltz). After the exit, head north on Route 32 for about 10 miles. Buttermilk
Falls Inn will be on your left.
