VR TRAINING IN CHEST TUBE INSERTION

Juan, a 48-year-old male, who is suffering from pneumothorax will need to have a
chest tube inserted.  As the patient’s healthcare provider, you need to perform
the insertion but before that you would also have to educate him on the risks
involved. Are you prepared for the task?

provides learners practice in the following skills:

 * Performing the chest tube insertion procedure.  
 * Suturing the wound and applying the dressing.  
 * Connecting the chest to drainage and suction.
